Freedom Information Act Blog Post
With hope of receiving the Bevo Bucks information I was seeking this whole semester form the University of Texas, I reached out to Mr. Darrell L. Bazzell - the I nterim Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. When I started this process I wanted to receive information that I believed would be returned to me in a timely manner. Initially I planned on contacting TCU regarding left over Frog Bucks, but due to TCU being a private institution - they had no legal obligation to release that information. I was worried that if I contacted a bigger university, my email either wouldn't reach the right people or it would be ignored. Receiving a response from the University of Texas was rewarding but wish I got a little more. Seemed to me it was almost an automated response and they just didn't really want to deal with it.
